The disadvantage to granite (or granite-like) counter tops that they fail to tell you:
This was after emergency cleanup.
I thought I’d make some homemade cookies this afternoon and was checking out what supplies were in my cupboard. Oh! Is that a box of oatmeal in the back? Behind the Worcestershire sauce……..OH NO!
It was one of those times when time slows down and you watch things unfold knowing exactly how they are going to end. Also, remember that the splat pattern is 360 degrees, I was covered with the smelly sauce myself. Of course the bottle was nearly full. It was the third drawer down before I no longer had pools inside the drawers to clean up. About a third of the bottle spilled between the fridge and the counter so I had to pull the refrigerator out to get back there.
But the counter top cleaned up nicely!
